In 2016, E. & J. Gallo resurrected the Thunderbird brand with its new product Thunderbird Hard Citrus Brew. As part of its revival, Gallo hired Proof to develop its microsite. Proof was given a fair amount of autonomy to develop an eye-catching experience which communicated the "new" brand's culture.
Given the prevalance of high resolution images and animation in the site, my first concern was performance, especially on mobile devices. This concern was compounded by the processor-intensive nature of the scroll-based animation.
